Dok je smrtno bolesna SFRJ čekala svoj posljednji bolni grč, TV i radio prijemnicima su, kao i uvijek, vladali oni optimističniji i sunčaniji oblici umjetnosti, u narodu poznatiji kao zabava. Unatoč sve liberalnijoj uređivačkoj politici u medijima (na kojoj nam je zavidio čitav “istok”), za ozbiljne teme je bilo onoliko mjesta koliko bi ih “bitni” ljudi shvaćali kao bezazlene šale ili nerazumljive apstrakcije studenata pod utjecajem raznih opijata.

Vodeći diskografi su možda imali moć odluke koja će nam se domaća i strana lica smješkati s omota ploča u robnim kućama, ali nisu mogli začepiti dragocjeno krijumčarenje albuma The Pop Group, Birthday Party i sličnih preko Trsta i ostalih puteva, pa tako ni maštu glazbenika pod utjecajem nezaustavljive buke s polica Rough Trade dućana.

Kod rock and roll glazbe (u širem smislu) ponekad neće provocirati samo ispjevane riječi, nego i ono što se ispod njih nalazi, a u slučaju unikatnog zagrebačkog post punk benda Trobecove krušne peći ispod već dovoljno drskih urlika gospodina Begića živce je štipao i kontrolirani bučno-plesni kaos u usporedbi s kojim je Jugotonov otisak ploče “Solid Gold” grupe Gang of Four skoro pa lagani, intelektualni funk rock.

Trobecove Krušne Peći, nazvani po najpoznatijem slovenskom serijskom ubojici, bili su uz Sexu jedan od najboljih hrvatskih alternativnih bendova, ali istovremeno i jedna od najbolje čuvanih tajni hrvatske rock glazbe, prije svega zbog nemogućnosti izdavanja albuma. Trobeci su svirali avangardan rastrzani noise funk specifične crnohumorne poetike, lako usporediv s aktualnim svjetskim glazbenim zbivanjima, a njihovi se intenzivni nastupi, često na tankoj liniji između performansa i ekscesa, i danas prepričavaju.

Da bi Trobecove Krušne Peći dobile zasluženi nosač zvuka inicijativu pokreću entuzijasti Kornel Šeper (Kekere Aquarium), Igor Mihovilović (Guranje s litice) i Igor Banjanin (Dirty Old Label), te u suradnji sa skupinom anonimnih fanova i nezavisnih izdavača (Bučni stripovi, Dare The Divine, DHPAK47, Doomtown Records, Front Rock - Subkulturni azil, Geenger Records, Hello Bing, Humanita Nova, Karma Music Shop, Ne Records, Okata piramida Records, Slušaj najglasnije! i Timjku bžju! Records) daju ovom bendu ono što mu ni tadašnji mediji ne bi mogli dati: legendarni album “85”, izgubljeni dragulj hrvatske glazbe i jedan od najboljih ex Yu albuma uopće u produkciji Boruta Činča iz Buldožera na visokokvalitetnom 180 gramskom vinilu (u dvije kolor varijante). Pored toga, u luksuznom gatefold pakiranju, za čiji izgled se pobrinuo neumorni Kujundžić/Vranić duo, nalaze se i 2 CD-a sa svim ostalim dostupnim snimkama (demo snimke, audio i video koncertni zapisi) nastalim za vrijeme trajanja benda (1981. – 1987.).

Napokon dostupne Trobecove Krušne Peći grizu, udaraju i ruše ostale ploče s polica svakog boljeg dućana izniklih na ruševinama robnih kuća, dok bend obnovljen u originalnoj postavi kreće u pohod po klubovima.
